College & Career

Our College & Career department is dedicated to helping students plan for their futures! Their team thoughtfully gets to know students beginning in ninth grade and help them develop a Path that’s unique to them. Students will take College & Career planning classes, receive 1:1 counseling sessions, take career and identity assessments and develop an electives Path to help them reach their future goals.

Classes

College & career planning classes are required for grades 9th, 11th and 12th. The focus is on preparing our students for life after High School and choosing a pathway in which they feel confident pursuing.

Counseling

Students have 1:1 meetings with our Career Counselors to talk through their goals, decide on elective classes and even apply to different jobs and colleges.

assessments

Assessments can help students learn more about themselves and their interests. We have students take several to understand career options that are available and may be a good fit for them.

“Some students will go to college, some may go to trade school, some to the military and others may go directly into the workforce. So we have different speakers and lessons around the different options available to students after High School."
