Amelia, one of our 7th grade students, won Hope Academy’s school-wide spelling bee and has since passed the next level of spelling tests to advance to Regional Spelling Bee on March 27th at St. Kate’s University. The winner of that wins an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete in the 2018 Scripps National Spelling Bee. Go Amelia!

Our 50-minute Saturday morning Family Concerts combine music, storytelling and learning for the whole family. These concerts are geared for children ages 6–12 and their families, but all ages are welcome!

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s popular Family, Xplorchestra! and Start the Music! concerts are FREE, thanks to generous support from Target®. Seating is general admission, but reservations are required. All attendees, including infants, must have a ticket.

We enjoy the winter! Students go outside for recess all winter unless the temperature or wind chill is too low to be safe. Please make sure your child has warm clothes every day, including hat, mittens, boots and snow pants.
The Minneapolis Park Board has approved almost $2 million dollars of improvements to Peavey Park! They are adding new basketball courts, a soccer field, a picnic shelter, and a playground. Click here to view the designs: New Peavey Park Designs.
Hope Academy is using a new app to post up-to-date schedules for all sports teams (K-12). The app is called “Team App” and is available for download on Android or Apple devices (www.teamapp.com). After downloading the app, search for “Hope Academy Minneapolis” to view Hope team schedules.
