W.O.V.E.N. (With One Voice Energizing Neighborhoods), is a program which gives current North Central Students an opportunity to serve the community by offering music lessons to youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Starting February 10 – April 20, a NCU Student/Teacher (Mentor) will be assigned a student (Mentee) to give lessons. The lesson times are from 4:30 – 5:30 each Monday at NCU (down the street from Hope Academy). After a snack, the first 20 minutes will be the music lesson and the 2nd 20 minutes will consist of a choir where Mentors and Mentees will participate together. April 20 will be a recital performance where the Mentee(s) will perform a short piece and the choir will perform a few pieces together. Children may study piano, voice, and guitar. Interested? Contact email@example.com.
Uniform Reminder: Please make sure that your student comes to school with a proper uniform. Our office only has a limited number of spare uniform items. Students dressed contrary to the dress code will receive uniform violations.
Health Reminder: According to our school policy, please be sure to keep your students at home if they have had a fever or vomited in the past 24 hours. We want to keep everyone as healthy as possible!
